About Gabriel Tupula Yamba
I am a business operator and a computer engineer based in Montreal, Canada. Known by my peers for always thinking critically, and of the larger picture with a specialty in new business development, operational excellence, and corporate growth. “Yamba” is not an Australian town or this mountain bike association; it originates from the Luba tribe, in the Kasai region of Central Africa. In Tshiluba, Yamba means “Judge” which fits me just right.
I am fortunate to have a colourful and filled career with a variety of business ventures. Read on for my notable projects – past and current.
Since 2014, Big Bang consultants have helped business leaders make the move to the cloud, and organizations optimize their business operations to align their growing businesses worldwide, whenever needed. Along with my team, we enable leaders to make better, faster and more precise decisions that impact their entire company. By working with Big Bang you can bring tangible value to your organization’s digital strategy, cloud solutions, and learning.
Change takes action. As a Corporate Development Committee Member with the SDC, I along with the team, are able to impact over 1,700 organizations located in the central district of Montreal. This area, where Big Bang’s head office is located, is being reborn to become the next largest commercial area of Montreal.
Distributions l’Escalier offers a gateway to employment, through a paid internship, for young adults, from 18 to 30 years old, experiencing certain difficulties on a personal and/or professional level. I chose to join Distributions l’Escalier as a board member to give back to the local community.
As a member of two Forbes Councils, I am able to share my thoughts as a content contributor around disruptive, fast-pace and uncomfortable growth in the realm of all things technology. Check out the Tech Council for details on systems and technologies whereas the Business Council focuses on more general topics.
My experience is in information systems, software development and internet marketing which has enabled me to be a creative problem solver and a results-oriented project manager. As an analytical thinker, I can see both the big picture and create a roadmap to tangible results – plus I have the drive and ability to cross the finish line. From reconciling the gaps between advanced technological concepts and practical applications, I even fill in for employees or full departments when needed. I have always been willing to adapt strategies to meet the needs of clients, as each business is unique in its processes, though they often share similar challenges. As a particle designer, I aim to leverage existing tools and out-of-the-box solutions to create a perfect fit with clients’ requirements and their business culture. My dedication to ongoing professional development allows me to keep abreast of the rapid changes in technology and offer clients the most up-to-date business solutions.
My most recent work is with CRM, ERP and eCommerce with leading cloud solutions and business applications, including: Oracle NetSuite, Salesforce, Mavenlink, Rootstock, FinancialForce, ServiceNow, Sage Intacct, Hubspot, Pardot, Zuora, Dell Boomi, Celigo and BambooHR.
